This tool was created for work when I was tasked with doing a load performance test for a piece of code my department wrote for another department to prove its performance. Basically I was handed a dump of data and needed to find a user that had a massive number of clients under him. I couldn’t think of an easier way to do this than to quickly put together a tool.
The tool performed flawlessly and ran against a 600,000 record spreadsheet in a couple of seconds and quickly identified a user that had over 150,000 records he had access to. In case you are wondering, this user was then plugged into the code and metrics were taken and it was proven that even with this huge load, the average execution time was still insignificant.

1) Specify a spread sheet in csv format
2) Enter the column you wish to count the occurrences of (Note that this number is in programmer speak so the first column is actually 0, second is 1 and so on…subtract 1 from the way you normally count)
3) Click the start button
